Emilio Pucci
Color, iconic prints, and Italian luxury with a Mediterranean spirit.
Discover the story
Emilio Pucci, Marquis of Barsento, founded the eponymous maison in 1947. His career began unexpectedly on the Swiss ski slopes, and in 1950, he opened his first boutique in Capri, one of the places that would forever mark the brand’s Mediterranean identity.
Between Florence, Capri, and favorite destinations of the international jet set, Pucci envisioned a new way to dress women: light, spontaneous, comfortable, and sophisticated. His approach to combining color, movement, and a modern vision of sportswear broke with the most rigid codes of the era.
His graphic prints and mastery of color became the brand’s visual signature and earned him the nickname the “Prince of Prints.” Today, PUCCI carries forward that legacy of Italian energy, freedom, and glamour, reimagined for a new generation while staying true to its unmistakable connection to the Mediterranean.
