Bond No. 9

Niche perfume brand inspired by New York.

Discover the story

Founded in 2003 by Laurice Rahmé in New York City, Bond No. 9 is the first high-end perfume house dedicated entirely to paying homage to a great metropolis. It takes its name from the address of its flagship boutique at 9 Bond Street, in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.

The brand's key difference lies in its urban olfactory concept: each fragrance is formulated to capture the essence, character, and atmosphere of a specific New York neighborhood, park, or street (such as Wall Street, Coney Island, Central Park, or Chinatown). Its fragrance compositions use high concentrations of essential oils (usually between 18% and 20%).

The unmistakable graphic element of Bond No. 9 is its five-pointed star-shaped bottle (silhouette bottle), which resembles a human figure with arms and legs outstretched. In 2015, the brand made history by launching special editions entirely decorated with hand-applied Swarovski crystals, cementing a distinctly New York luxury aesthetic.
