Dries Van Noten
Color, prints, and sophistication from Antwerp.
Discover the story
Dries Van Noten graduated in 1981 from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and presented his first menswear collection in 1986. He was part of the generation of Belgian designers that put Antwerp on the international fashion map and built his brand from a very pronounced creative independence.
The house is distinguished by the richness of its fabrics, the mix of prints, the sophisticated use of color, and the ability to combine seemingly disparate cultural references. In 1989, he opened Het Modepaleis, his iconic Antwerp store, and in the following years solidified his presence on the Paris runways.
The Dries Van Noten universe has always been defined by understated yet complex elegance. Its identity does not rely on a logo, but on the way color, texture, proportion, and print come together to create garments with a highly recognizable personality.
