Founded in Geneva in 1999 by French master watchmaker François-Paul Journe, F.P. Journe is one of the most respected independent high watchmaking manufacturers in the world. Under the motto engraved on every timepiece, Invenit et Fecit ("He invented it and made it"), the brand ensures that every watch is conceived, designed, and built entirely within its workshops.
The standout technical difference of F.P. Journe is that its mechanical movements are made almost exclusively from solid 18-karat pink gold, an extremely rare practice in the industry due to the difficulty of machining and adjusting tiny components made from this precious metal.
With production intentionally limited to fewer than 1,000 pieces per year, F.P. Journe holds multiple international technical accolades, having won the prestigious Aiguille d'Or award from the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix three times. Its dials combine the chromatic precision of graduated scales with traditional handcrafted guilloché finishes.
