Originally founded in Saint Petersburg in 1828 by Swiss watchmaker Heinrich Moser and relaunched in 2002 in Neuhausen am Rheinfall (Switzerland) by the Meylan family, H. Moser & Cie. is an independent luxury watchmaking manufacture with limited production, renowned for its conceptual minimalism and subtle wit.
The key technical differentiator of H. Moser & Cie. is that it is one of the very few independent manufactures in the world capable of manufacturing its own balance hairsprings (Straumann hairsprings) through its subsidiary Precision Engineering AG, even supplying other high-end watchmakers.
Aesthetically, the brand is a pioneer in the use of fumé dials (with intense color gradients from the center to the edges) and its Concept collections, where it completely removes the logo, hour markers, and dial markings, proving that the watch’s design and finishing are sufficient to identify the brand without the need for a visible logo.
