Maison Francis Kurkdjian

Contemporary Parisian luxury perfumery.

Discover the story

Co-founded in Paris in 2009 by renowned master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian (creator of the iconic Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male in 1995) and Marc Chaya, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a French luxury perfumery house defined by a contemporary, architectural approach to fragrance.

What sets the brand apart is Kurkdjian’s olfactory technique, focused on creating an "invisible armor" of distinction through the refined use of pure synthetic molecules combined with highest-quality natural ingredients (such as Damask rose absolute and Egyptian jasmine). Its formulas stand out for their atypical color stability and sillage.

Its most prominent global launch is Baccarat Rouge 540, a fragrance originally created to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Baccarat crystal. Its name refers exactly to the 540 °C temperature at which 24-karat gold dust must be fused with crystal to achieve the signature ruby red color of the crystal house.
