Jacob Cohën
Denim Made in Italy elevated to the realm of luxury.
Discover the story
Jacob Cohën was founded in Italy in 1985 within the Bardelle family and relaunched with a new vision in 2002 by Nicola Bardelle. The goal was to challenge the notion that denim should take a secondary position to tailoring or garments traditionally considered luxury.
The brand brought the standards of premium categories to denim: carefully selected fabrics, complex washes, meticulously crafted patterns, hand-finished details, and recognizable accents on labels, buttons, and seams. The result was a pair of jeans designed to pair with tailored jackets, cashmere pieces, and high-end footwear.
Jacob Cohën thus transformed an essentially informal garment into a Made in Italy luxury product. Its design language still revolves around that combination of comfort, precision, and meticulous attention to detail not typically associated with conventional denim.
