Memo Paris
Artisan perfume brand inspired by travel.
Discover the story
Founded in Paris in 2007 by Parisian poet Clara Molloy and her husband, adventurous traveler John Molloy, Memo Paris is a niche perfume house built around travel as a destination and the sensory memory of the world’s locations.
What sets Memo Paris apart is its olfactory composition technique based on what they call "map leather". Unlike traditional perfumery, which structures the fragrance opening with soft citrus notes, Memo’s fragrances typically feature deep leather notes paired with exotic botanicals from specific regions from the very start—such as toasted sesame from Kedu or green tea from Inlé.
Aesthetically, each fragrance comes in a gold glass bottle or one adorned with a hand-engraved metal plaque depicting the landscape or history of the place that inspired the scent, turning the bottle into a collectible travel journal.
