Moncler was founded in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, near Grenoble, initially developing padded garments for workers and later technical equipment for mountain expeditions. This connection to the Alps forms the historical foundation of Moncler Grenoble.
The Grenoble line carries this legacy into garments designed for skiing and winter activities, combining technical materials, insulation, weather protection and functional construction with an aesthetic characteristic of contemporary luxury.
