Montblanc
Writing instruments, leather goods, luggage, and luxury timepieces.
Discover the story
Montblanc traces its origins to Hamburg, where the brand has been established since 1906. Its story began with a pioneering vision for writing instruments, combining German engineering, precision, and European craftsmanship.
In 1909, it introduced the Rouge et Noir writing instrument, and one year later, adopted the name Montblanc, inspired by the Alpine mountain as a symbol of excellence. The six-pointed white star became one of its most recognizable emblems.
Over time, Montblanc expanded its universe beyond writing to include leather goods, luggage, and timepieces. Today, it maintains specialized production across Hamburg, Scandicci — near Florence — for its leather goods, and Switzerland for its watches, preserving an identity rooted in craftsmanship, functionality, and timeless design.
