Montale

Founded in Paris in 2003 by perfumer Pierre Montale after spending several years in Saudi Arabia creating fragrances for the royal family and aristocracy of the Persian Gulf, Montale was one of the pioneering houses to introduce the agarwood (Oud) accord to the Western perfume market.

Montale's most notable technical difference is its product packaging: instead of using glass, all fragrances are bottled in ultra-lightweight pharmaceutical-grade aluminum containers. This material protects aromatic perfume extracts from direct light, oxygen, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring the indefinite preservation of its oils.

Montale's fragrances are famous for their extreme potency, sillage, and staying power, achieved through very high concentrations of natural resins, balsams, musk, and intense blends of wild roses with Eastern woods.
